Sejong University

Established in 1940, Sejong University is a private university located in Seoul, South Korea. Sejong University consists of ten colleges and seven graduate schools. It was named in honor of Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Chosun Dynasty and overseer of the Korean alphabet Hangeul. Designated as a National Center of Excellence in Software in 2015, Sejong University has exerted its effort in nurturing talented students in software and convergence technology. In particular, Mobile Virtual Reality Research Center has been founded in 2016 at Sejong University by Korean Ministry of Science and ICT. The VR Hackathon 2020 will be held at the Gwanggaeto Building and/or Sejong Innovation Center scheduled to open in Feb. 2019.
